At the end of 2000, PLAMESA started operations in the plastics recycling segment finding an opportunity due to the large volumes of post-industrial plastic waste and the lack of high-quality suppliers of recycled resins. Since then, PLAMESA has gathered experience from a vast number of projects implemented in the automotive, electronics, appliances and other industries nationwide.
